Ground screw to secure a yacht ashoreThe Admiral Quick Guide was sent to Admiral Hurricane Insurance policy holders, and it outlines the best ways to tether and secure boats during hurricane season in the Caribbean.

Before embarking on the project, the client supplied us some recent photos of yachts which had not been appropriately secured ashore in the path of a hurricane. The results were devastating – and much of the damage could have been easily avoided.

Tinstar commissioned illustrations to demonstrate the correct way to secure a yacht ashore. All illustrations were beautifully rendered in pencil by Paul Traies, a New Forest based graphic artist.

The final illustrations were scanned, colourised and annotaed and integrated in an easy-to-follow layout.

The finished brochure was laminated throughout to give it a robust, water resistant finish.
