Website Design
The primary purpose of a website is to attract the right kind of traffic and convert its visitors into clients. Nothing should appear on a website that has no good reason for being there; it should convey a clear, uncluttered message, provide appropriate information where required and be easy and intuitive to navigate. Within this framework can be added e-commerce, Flash animation, or a content management system making it easy to update sites via a browser.
Tinstar will design your site from scratch, or re-design using existing images and text. We'll ensure that your site both looks good and reflects your brand and corporate identity.
Keep it simple
When considering what pages to add to a company website, the temptation is often to add in certain sections because that's what the competition seems to be doing. In fact, the pages that a company website should contain are only those which directly benefit the business - by pursuading vistors to pick up the phone, make a purchase, complete an enquiry form, or whatever it is that they are required to do.
The site should start simple. Naturally it should do everything you want it to do, but within as simple a framework as possible. The beauty of a website is that unlike a company brochure, it is infinitely updatable - so if you're in two minds about whether or not to have that Flash gizmo on the front to keep the visitors entertained, put it on the back-burner for now and use static, pursuasive imagery and text instead. We can always add it later!
OK - But What about...
It all starts with a blank sheet of paper
Each website design project begins with a blank sheet of paper, because every one of our clients has different requirements. We start every job by trying to think like your potential customer in order to develop visual messages that actually work. To see how some of these projects turned out, please browse through a selection of work from our portfolio.
Not sure where to begin? Want to know how much it'll cost? Just give us a call on 01590 679490 and we'll answer all your questions - or click here to complete a simple enquiry form. We look forward to hearing from you.
